About Harleys Bar
Harleys Bar, in the centre of Monte Gordo, is a fantastic bar and favoured by all ages and all nationalities. The owner, John, makes you welcome the moment you walk in. You can just pop in for a drink or sample some of their excellent freshly cooked, home made food. The menu offers a full English breakfast as well as a wide range of dishes for lunch and dinner.
Starters include favourites like melon and presunto ham, garlic mushrooms or home made soup. Main courses - well, you are spoilt for choice! Just selecting a few off the menu to tempt you: a choice of steaks (T-bone, sirloin or rump) served with home cut chips and a choice of mushroom or pepper sauce; traditional dishes like liver and onions, toad-in-the-hole, steak and kidney pudding or fish and chips; tuna steak in a tomato, garlic and onion sauce; beef or chicken burgers and a range of omelettes.
Harleys Bar also has baguettes, freshly baked on the premises, with a choice of fillings and delicious freshly prepared salads (great for vegan diners!) that you can eat in or take away if you don't want to be away from the beach for too long! Don't miss out on Sunday lunch either - just remember to give them a call or pop along to book a place as it's very popular.
Harleys Bar has a range of English draught beers including John Smith's extra smooth as well as Bulmer's cider, Magna's and Guinness so you can enjoy your favourite drink while you watch Sky Sport on the TV or giant projector screen or if you are visiting on a Saturday you can join in with the regular Saturday Karaoke session!
Apart from food and drink, John is a great source of useful information about Monte Gordo and what's going on and can also arrange car hire or book you a taxi with a local company at discounted rates.
Don't forget to pick up your ICE (Indian, Chinese, English) card - a discount card offered by Harleys Bar in partnership with the nearby Chinese restaurant Xin Yuan and Indian restaurant Maharaja Patiala, to make the most of your stay in Monte Gordo.
And finally, it may seem trivial but spotlessly clean toilets are always a good sign of the care taken and Harleys Bar has top marks!

Opening hours:
10.00 to 02.00. Open 7 days a week during the summer, usually closed on Thursdays during the winter. Open all year round. Food is served from 10.30 to 21.00.
Directions:
Harleys Bar is just a short distance from Monte Gordo Casino. With the Casino directly behind you walk down the wide street with lots of cafes and restaurants that is directly in front of you. Harleys Bar is the second turning on the right just around the corner from a large cafe. You will see an A- board in the middle of the walkway with an arrow to guide you!
